Finding Beauty Everywhere

I love to find beauty in unexpected places...and I'm never disappointed.

We, you and I, just have to take the time to look. It's Everywhere!!

My Photo
Name:
Location: Ohio, United States

I'm interested in all living things which means All Things. There is beauty everywhere. We just have to slow down enough to find it...to see it. I believe there is nothing Man can do to match the beauty found in Nature...and not only the beauty. Nature can outdo anything man can think of in the way of destruction too. Man is very small, the works of man are very small. We need to remember this. But Nature never sends its force after anything or anyone out of anger or hatred or desire to conquer or own. Nature has many lessons for us all.

A Breath of Spring, and a P.S.

This post is for all of you who are starved for signs of spring. All of the photos were taken in the gardens around our local Post Office. The crocus and iris have been in full bloom for a week and were hinting around at blooming for a couple weeks before that. The Daffodils are just starting.

Striped Crocus

P.S. Gooserock's brother and his wife are coming tomorrow. My b-i-l used to live in WA but my s-i-l-i-l (aka sister-outlaw) has never been here. They're coming to visit GMom and us and we're looking forward to it as we haven't seen them in some time. I'll let you know how it goes.

P.P.S. These photos were taken with my p-n-s. I still like it better for macros.

Hi Puget.

The pictures are beautiful. I like the middle one the best. It looks wonderful when it's enlarged a little.

Hope you have a good time with the bil & sil coming to visit. I would give you some tips on visiting relatives since I have so many visiting all the time. But my tips are usually how to get rid of them . :)

Enjoy!

I'm with FM -- all lovely pics but the middle shot is the loveliest of them all. Thanks for such beautiful reminders that spring is coming.

Oh, oh, oh ..... my!

Spring is really out there ... :D

Like FM and Andi, I love the middle one best too -- it's the variegation of the petals for me. Wow. Beautifully captured.

Have a wonderful visit w/ your family. They're in for a spring treat too ... :)

Hi Andi! Thanks for the kind words. Spring is definitely coming. Today we have fog and no front-room view at all. Never a dull moment in the Pac North Wet.

Morning O. Thanks for your kind words too. I like the middle one too I must admit. But the others are awesome when seen in person. I'm a sucker for macros. I like the frilly ibs.
