Finding Beauty Everywhere

I love to find beauty in unexpected places...and I'm never disappointed.

We, you and I, just have to take the time to look. It's Everywhere!!

I'm interested in all living things which means All Things. There is beauty everywhere. We just have to slow down enough to find it...to see it. I believe there is nothing Man can do to match the beauty found in Nature...and not only the beauty. Nature can outdo anything man can think of in the way of destruction too. Man is very small, the works of man are very small. We need to remember this. But Nature never sends its force after anything or anyone out of anger or hatred or desire to conquer or own. Nature has many lessons for us all.

Christmas Cuddlies

We had a very cuddly Christmas this year. We all got new slippers from North Star Trading Co. at Pike Place Market in Seattle.

From left to right: Gooserock's, GMom's, P4's.

Ordinarily I don't get excited about slippers or any piece of clothing but these slippers are really something. For one thing, they breathe. I've always said that my bodily thermostat is in my feet. If my feet are comfortable, I'm comfortable. I usually run around in the house barefoot, but I'm totally comfortable in these slippers....not too hot....not too cold.

Let me show you the slippers "at work".

Ever notice how hard it is to take a photo of your own feet?....even happy feet?

Hi Puget.

Love those slippers. I'm not much of a shoe person, but I do have a fair amount of house shoes/slippers.

Looks like a great Xmas present for all the family. :)

Hi FM and Olivia! We're all sporting our slippers this morning too. :-) The unusual thing is that they're made out of natural sheepskin not plastic.
