Merry, Happy, Healthy Wishes to you All
I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday. I surely am. It started with getting to sleep in until 10:30 this morning. But let me go back to last night, Christmas Eve.
Here's what our house looked like from outside.
We share our gifts on Christmas Eve. Waiting till the morning is for the children, I feel. Of course, that may be because I'm still too much of a kid to wait another night. :-)
We had a very special dinner last evening. GMom has been lobbying for the last year to go to a restaurant where she could order lobster. She cannot eat any shell fish except lobster. Come to find out, restaurants don't offer lobster here where we live....too expensive since they come from the east coast. So Gooserock had the idea of buying a live one ($30.00) and cooking it for her. I told him I couldn't deal with cooking a live critter no matter how much GMom wanted one. So he did it all. We managed to keep it a surprise until we placed it in front of her
Caption for this next one: Oh dear, where do I start.
And at last, here is our tree covered with wishes for you all to be Happy, Merry, Healthy and Safe, now and in the New Year. It is such a joy to share with you all.

Sorry about the size of the photos, but I'm way to slackerly to go back and change them. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, All. Safe journey
Whales!!! We had a pod of Orca whales go past our house minutes ago. They had been reported in the vicinity. I was taking Toto2 out for a walk and saw a few people looking which is a sure sign whales are about. Sure enough, one surfaced just in time for me to catch a glimpse.
Hooray!!!
Merry Christmas Puget, Gooserock and GMom!
You house both outside and inside look great and the look on GMom's face. :)
We had a big day today. 29 family and extended family and way too much food. I think I'll sleep for the next 12 hours.
I hope ya'lls day and holiday has been wonderful.
Howdy All. Forgive me FM but I became unslackerly (after having a nap) and fixed the size of the photos.
Thanks for coming around FM. 29!! Mercy, that's a lot of family. I envy you having your family near. You are very lucky. I'm so glad you all get together often.
Hi Puget.
That's OK to be unslackerly just as long as you get a nap before. :)
Yep it was great to have all the family here, but it's also great when they head home. I'm looking forward to a lot of slack time coming up.
Merry Christmas Puget! Being an easterner I gotta say "A lobster for xmas?" hahaha, Never!
LOL P4!
The look on GMom's face ... wonderful! And I love your tree -- right to the ceiling. It's beautiful!
That's so neat about seeing the whales ... wow.
LOL Scott. I went to school w/ a girl from Newfoundland, and she ate lobster for lunch - her mother mailed it to her here in Ontario ... LOL. To her, it was just like eating tuna sandwiches - no big deal.
Hi again FM. Do you have a family gathering coming up for New Years?
Hello Scott. All I know is GMom (Gooserock's Mom) will eat lobster anytime anywhere and be absolutely delighted. LOL I enjoyed your site. I'm learning things already. Thanks!
Hi Olivia! Thanks for coming by. I just woke up from a very slackerly nap (the dishes are still waiting for me) and the lights on the tree all had halos around them in my unfocused eyes. Kinda cool.
The whales are a really big deal here. They're around all the time only not so easy to see because they come and go so fast...and they can stay underwater for 20 minutes so waiting for them to surface to breathe can be a drag. We also get gray whales in the spring and other miscellaneous wonderful critters of the sea.
