A Study of a Sunset, Series of Four Photos

Sunset July 9, 2006 at 9:30 p.m.

The same 5 minutes later at 9:35 p.m.

Yet again at 9:40 p.m.

This final version at 9:45 p.m.
I braced the camera on a windowsill and used the sunset menu setting. I clicked off photos as fast as I could click, then stitched sets of two or three to get these panoramas.

Beautiful panorama sunset Puget. I love the color on the water.
huh, I never knew until now that 9:40 p.m. PDT was my favoite time of day.
Hi FM. Isn't it amazing? They change so quickly too. It's fun to watch. Thanks for visiting.
Hello AndiF. Thanks very much for waiting through the download time to see these photos. I can't decide between 9:35 and 9:40 for my favorite sunset time. It's fascinating how fast they scene changes color.
Evening Puget4. I didn't even have to wait -- I'm at a customer site and there's wifi at my hotel so I just clicked on them and it was an instantaneous wowie zowie!
What a great idea! Plus we get 4 photos ... :)
I think I'm w/ Andi -- 9:40 pm PDT is my favourite time of day too.
Oh and I forgot to say that the stitching looks great -- can't see where they've been joined!
Hi AndiF and Olivia. I guess that means that 9:37.5 p.m. is about perfect. :-) I'm glad you had a wifi, Andi. Have you gotten a copy of Panorama Maker 3 yet, Olivia? Oh, yes, have you installed Photoshop yet?
P4 I'm ashamed to admit this ... but no to both! My plan is to do it this w/e ... but considering my track record ... we'll see. :)
