I'm interested in all living things which means All Things. There is beauty everywhere. We just have to slow down enough to find it...to see it. I believe there is nothing Man can do to match the beauty found in Nature...and not only the beauty. Nature can outdo anything man can think of in the way of destruction too. Man is very small, the works of man are very small. We need to remember this. But Nature never sends its force after anything or anyone out of anger or hatred or desire to conquer or own. Nature has many lessons for us all.

A First for Puget4




Today I had another "first". I've been sailing with Gooserock for 24 years, but today, for the first time, I sailed SOLO!! Here's the proof. That's me in our El Toro sailing dinghy beating around a local marina. "Beating" is sailor talk for going up wind by zig-zagging back and forth.

Gooserock has offered to let me try any number of times but it was never right. Now, for many reasons, I was ready to want to try, so I did. I am one happy gal.

BTW, Gooserock is the photographer. Duh!

Hi Puget. What beautiful pictures.

You did a solo sail. Yah Hoo! I've never sailed before, so I have great respect for people that do.

Since you sailed solo, should we start calling you Captain Puget. :)

Hi FM and Olivia. Thanks for stopping by. No, I'm not ready for the Captain designation yet. ;-) It sure was fun. As you can see, there was almost no wind so it wasn't at all nerve wracking.
